Step Up Your Professional Image & Customize Your iOS Email Signature

While e-mail signatures should have been in iOS from day one, since the iOS 6 update this feature has been available. Before iOS 6, users would have to create a generic signature and then add any extra information for each email they were sending.

To set up your e-mail signatures:

  1. Launch the Settings app and then select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  2. Scroll down until you find the Signature option and tap on it.
  3. You'll be presented with the option to set one e-mail address for all accounts, or to set a signature per account.
  4. Use the latter option to customize the signature for each account.

Now iOS will automatically apply the proper signature based on the account you're using to send the e-mail and your work account emails will no longer be guerrilla marketing for Apple.
